Synopsis

Waylaid in Wyoming is set in the Big Horn Mountain region of Wyoming. The Murphy family-Drew, Jeff, and Betty-live on the family ranch. Drew Murphy is a veterinarian living in his family's home along with his mother and brother. His father was killed in an automobile accident five years earlier. Drew is struggling with survivor guilt since he was in the same accident as his father but could not save him. Soured on love due to a failed romance in his younger years, Drew is content to live on the ranch and help his mother and heal the animals brought to him, until Colleen Bonner arrives on their doorstep. Then Drew's world changes.
