Synopsis

When Taisie Brown ran away from Number 1 Clerivale Street and the depraved Mr. Gribble, she was ten years old. Clutching a golden guinea and wandering aimlessly about the streets of Victorian London she drifted into Victoria Station and boarded the first train she had ever seen. So began the story of the little street urchin who was transformed into a beautiful star of the London stage, a spirited girl whose dramatic life, tender heart and wonderful voice brought her wide acclaim as Taisie Brown -- The London Linnet.
