Synopsis

When Taisie Brown ran away from Number 1 Clerivale Street and the depraved Mr. Gribble, she was ten years old. Clutching a golden guinea and wandering aimlessly about the streets of Victorian London she drifted into Victoria Station and boarded the first train she had ever seen.
