Fate was such a fickle little thing. A stack of events happened in my life, throwing me on the path I needed to be on. What I had thought was another visit to the coffee shop coming back from work turned into meeting Rune. The most attractive man I had ever laid my eyes on took interest in me. I was not a smooth person at all. I was a shy and awkward twenty-nine-year-old woman who couldn’t talk to an attractive man without stumbling over my words. But Rune had found me endearing anyway. Rune spoke of reincarnations and myths being real. He said I was a reincarnation of someone special. But he wouldn’t tell me who. Strange things happened after meeting him. I had the feeling of someone watching me and could never shake it away while out in public. Someone was after me, and they would do anything to get me. After an incident, I had crossed into a new realm with no knowledge of how to call a portal to cross over into it. Rune was the only one I could depend on to keep me safe and run from the threat of whoever was after me. While on the run, I had to figure out who exactly I was reincarnated from and how this person was tied to Rune because he wouldn’t tell me in fear of fracturing my mind. But what I didn’t know was I had a higher purpose. Not only for myself but for the entirety of all the realms. This is an Urban Fantasy Romance and the start of the series. It is full of world-building with a Heroine who comes from the modern world. The Heroine is a shy and awkward girl who is put through the wringer. The Hero is an Alpha male who cherishes the Heroine and will do whatever it takes to be with her.
