Synopsis

Astra and Xander have prepared two of the four cities of Ashguard for the Convergence, and Aesir is now getting the help it needs. That only leaves Vanaheim, but the City of Sky is far behind on preparations, and only two months remain. After Johnas's thwarted attempt to take Aesir, the mad dog has disappeared somewhere in the vast forest, still armed with the cursed sword Obedience. Further, Astra's due date coincides with the expected calamity. If Astra and Xander do not find a way to fortify Vanaheim, the city of half a million will be wiped out, leaving a den of high-powered monsters blocking communication between Aesir and Nifelheim.
