Synopsis

Eighteen-year-old Lela Sawyer finds more than she's looking for, when on a trip to New York City, a young man named Henry Fields leaps into her taxi to avoid a group of teenage girls. There is an immediate spark between the two southerners. But they find there are many roadblocks to a romance between a twenty-nine-year-old rock star and an eighteen year old who is just re-entering the world, recovering from a serious injury. A relationship, dependant on Lela's maturity, Henry's patience, and their Christian faith, grows little by little as they face unusual dilemmas in their lives, affecting their feelings toward one another.
