Synopsis

LEARNING TO EMBRACE CHANGE IS USUALLY THE EASY PART. LEARNING TO CONFRONT THE PAST IS ANOTHER STORY. Donald Gonzalez already knows that he doesn't have the best reputation. He's not afraid to speak his mind, he gets in more fights than he can count on his hands, his home life is a total mess, and his overall appearance makes him seem like nothing but trouble. But at the same time, he is one of the top students of his graduating class, and he's been offered scholarships from some of the best colleges, both nationally and abroad. As the cherry on top, he has a tight-knit group of friends who always have his back, including his twin sister, Morris-Lina. Not a day goes by where Donald isn't reminded of how lucky he truly is. But after the unexpected death of his twin sister, things change. Between dealing with the imbeciles of his school, including his guidance counselor, and the pressures he faces at home, Donald starts to see his luck running out. Still, he tries to keep it together and persevere because that's what the Gonzalezes' do. Then again, things start to get tricky after a familiar face from his past comes back into his life. Through much trial and error, Donald soon realizes that he has no choice but to confront his past before it jeopardizes his future, even if it's at a significant cost. ..........
