Real estate mogul Phelma Jo Nelson and building inspector Ian MacEwen see the world through different colored glasses. A former foster child, she works on the shadowy side of the law to help troubled teens escape a flawed system; he’s an Eagle Scout. But the Pixies of Skene Falls know that under their differences, Phelma Jo and Ian can help each other, especially when Eldon Bass, Phelma Jo’s brutal foster father, slinks into town.
