Synopsis

Five year old, Ian Granger longed for a friend, a friend he could play with and confide in. He didn’t even care if it was a girl. The day the moving van pulled up to the house across the street was one of the happiest days of his life. That is until he met his new next door neighbor. Asa Addams left her friends behind when her parents moved from Detroit to Denver. It wasn’t her idea, but she didn’t have much of a say in the matter. She didn’t want new friends. She missed her old ones. But the persistent boy from across the street wore her down until she couldn’t help liking him. Who would have known their strange meeting on the top of her roof would be the beginning of a love that would survive all odds? Certainly not them.
