Synopsis
Lauren Fein’s troubled history has been chronicled within the published memoirs of her friends, but no one knows the true horror more than her longtime friend, Aaron Davis. While Aaron remains steadfast during her messy divorce, his romantic feelings cause confusion for both of them. Lauren believes her heart is as dead as her marriage, but when she encounters Jewish co-worker Grant Kaplan, their instant attraction presents even greater problems. Despite an equally complicated love life, Grant’s fascination grows. While he seeks more information about Jesus and the New Covenant ( b’rit hadasha ), Lauren wonders if the end of her own marital covenant has ruined her forever. Will she hide behind her pain, or can Lauren learn to entrust her future to the One who loves her more than any man ever could?
