Synopsis

After the death of her daughter and her husband's desertion, Beth is persuaded to sell her family home and move to a house on a new property development. She begins to suspect her new home is haunted. Delving into the archives she uncovers a disturbing story which occurred on the very same spot where her new house has been built. In an attempt to exorcise the ghost, she decides to research and publish the true story - whilst beginning a relationshop with Dr Tom Masterton, who has a wife in name only and two highly protective daughters...
