Gavin Sinclair and Aly Caldwell seem destined for marriage, until he loses the battle to save the man who is his friend and Aly's cousin. Aly knows he's done everything possible, but as he blames himself -- and so does Aly's family -- he feels compelled to leave town and the woman he loves. Three years later Aly has finally found a way for Gavin to return, and save his honor and his soul.
